
The Story of Lihyan
Lihyan has been working in multiple professions across the western and eastern medical industry for more than a decade as a Pharmacist, Integrative Beauty Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine Doctor, and Acupuncturist. Lihyan is passionate about helping men and women to restore their natural health and regain their vitality.
The intensive four years of acupuncture and Chinese medicine training at Univeristy Technology of Sydney has broadened Lihyan’s horizon on health, not only further supplementing her expertise on western pharmaceutical care but also understanding health optimization in a more holistic way.

Lihyan further enhances her traditional Chinese medicine skill at Chengdu China hospital. After completing the training at Chengdu Hospital, she started her adventurous journey with the aim of learning more about the wonder of the life force known as “Qi” and traditional chinse medicine. Her quest for knowledge lead her to Wudangshan Mountain in which most of the Taoist masters resided. Lihyan is very fortunate to learn Qigong from Master Tang Li Long and Master Chen Li Sheng from the lineage of San Feng tradition. Her qigong training is then further consolidated with Master Zhu who emphasized the natural style of Qigong that come from within. The highlight of the trip is the precious opportunity to learn directly from the Taoist Chinese Medicine Master Wang Tai Ke.

The quest for knowledge in Chinese medicine constantly gave Lihyan a new lens of seeing health and diseases in a better perspective. The depth of its healing modality that focuses on the root cause of the disharmony that manifested the illness is fascinating. Her Taoist Chinese medicine training opens a new door of knowledge in bridging the healing of spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of dis-ease. She then further explored the spirit function of the acupuncture point which then lead her into further training in esoteric acupuncture, five elements, I-ching, and eight extraordinary which are found to be very useful in psychoemotional disorders and assisting patients in their spiritual path.

Lihyan advances her skill as a cosmetic acupuncturist to treat patients with a variety of skin conditions. Her unique approach in cosmetic acupuncture is streamlined following direct training with Dr Radha Thambirajah, Dr Vivian Tam, Eli Huang, and Mark Phillips. Her style of treatment strategies has great influences from various acupuncturists worldwidely naming Mary Wakefiled Paul Atkinson, Cole Magbanua, Thomas Richardson, Master Tung’s Style, Ikeda Matsuko, Jonathan Schubb, Sohial Farzam, Jeffrey Yuen, Leta Herman and the late J.R Wolsley. She is also has special interest in skin disorders, gynecological disorders, pain management, digestive disorders and emotional health.
